Arcion Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Core robot control happens directly over Bluetooth. A constant internet connection is not required for core control once the app is installed.

What Arcion processes

Bluetooth device information needed to connect to a compatible hub, robot sensor data used during control, and permissions required for Bluetooth scanning or saving user-created content may be processed on-device.

Retention

Core robot-control data is designed to remain local. Connection and sensor data are kept only as needed for the active experience and are not used to build a remote personal profile.

Sharing

AppThoria does not sell personal data. Core robot control does not require sending robot-control data to an AppThoria server.

Security

Bluetooth communication uses the security provided by the device platform and Bluetooth stack.

Children and education

Arcion is suitable for educational robotics; use by children should follow parent, guardian, school or organization policies.

Contact and deletion

For privacy questions contact info@appthoria.com. Uninstalling the app removes local app data according to platform behavior.

Purchases and verification

iOS 1.0.2 (Build 74) and later

This iOS version verifies purchases on the device using Apple StoreKit 2. Apple manages purchase records and restoration. Arcion uses verified current purchases to enable features and does not send iOS purchase proofs, transaction identifiers, installation identifiers or entitlement requests to AppThoria’s verification server. Purchase access is held in memory and is refreshed from StoreKit; Arcion does not keep its own persistent iOS purchase-entitlement cache. Free-use counters and app preferences remain local. Developer purchase diagnostics are disabled in this release.

Android and earlier versions using server verification

The following server-verification and secure-storage description applies to Android and earlier app versions that use the AppThoria verification service; it does not describe the native iOS purchase flow above.

Paid features use Apple App Store or Google Play billing. To verify purchases and restore access, Arcion sends product and transaction identifiers, store-signed purchase proofs or purchase tokens, a random app-installation identifier and a one-time request value over HTTPS to AppThoria’s Arcion verification service hosted on Google Cloud. The service checks the purchase with Apple or Google. Card details and store account passwords are not received by AppThoria.

The verification service processes purchase proofs in memory and does not keep a customer purchase database or log receipt contents. Google Cloud infrastructure may retain technical request metadata, including IP address, request time and response status, for operation and security. Verified access records and proofs for later re-verification are stored in the device’s secure storage. Verified permanent purchases remain available offline without a 24-hour cutoff. Pro remains available only until its verified subscription expiry. Refunds and revocations take effect after a successful store sync on launch, resume, restore, purchase, or approximately every five minutes while the app is active and verification is available. During an outage, permanent verified access is retained. The server does not persist installation identifiers or transaction identifiers. Technical logs can contain IP addresses, request timestamps, response status, latency and client software metadata; these support operation, troubleshooting and security, not advertising or behavioral analytics. Removing the app may not remove all secure-storage records, depending on the platform. This verification data is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
